Our Mission

The Coffeyville Historical Society is a not-for-profit organization and exists for the primary purposes of perpetuating the history of Coffeyville, Kansas, Montgomery County, southeastern Kansas and northeastern Oklahoma and, in furtherance thereof, the corporation may own, operate and maintain various museums or historical sites including, but not limited to,
the Dalton Defenders Museum, old city jail, and Brown Mansion in the City of Coffeyville, Kansas.
